Runes: Living Language of Spirit at The Blackthorn Grove

At The Blackthorn Grove, runes are not just pulled—they are received. These ancient symbols are not tools to be used, but living forces to be honored, invited, and walked with. They are the voices of the unseen made visible, the vibration of spirit made tangible.

When I sit with the runes, I do not simply interpret them—I open. I allow. I let the guides move through me with clarity and precision, shaping their language in ways that meet you exactly where you are.

I become the bridge between your soul and the runes' message. My role is not just to explain what the runes mean, but to help reveal what they’re doing. I hold space for their truth to emerge while also translating the deeper layers—how their energy moves, what they’re activating in you, and what they’re asking of your spirit in this moment. It’s a conversation between the runes, your guides, and your soul—and I’m here to help you understand all of it.—for the wisdom to unfold in a way that heals, reveals, and empowers.

I work specifically with the Elder Futhark, the oldest known runic alphabet. These 24 symbols are not only letters—they are living archetypes, each carrying a deep energetic signature tied to the natural world, the self, and the unseen. My training in the Elder Futhark allows me to interpret these runes not just intellectually, but energetically—through a mix of tradition, intuition, and direct communion with the guides.

 There is plenty of written information regarding the runes available through various mediums. I recommend diving into that realm if you feel a calling.

Each rune carries not just insight but energy. A signature. A medicine. A memory.

And when they show up for you, they do so with purpose. Sometimes softly. Sometimes fiercely. But always with movement.

How I Work with the Runes

Runes are woven into the very roots of The Blackthorn Grove. They are not an offering—I would say they are a foundation. Here's how they're integrated across my work:

• Runic Readings & Channelings

 Readings are usually 30–60 minutes and are always tailored to what's needed at the moment. Some are simple check-ins, energy/focus of the day type thing. Others are deep excavations. Most readings are a little of both. I channel not only the runes but also your guides and mine, interpreting not just the symbol but the frequency behind it. What comes through is often layered, intuitive, and precise. You may receive images, sensations, specific words, or ritual suggestions—whatever spirit deems necessary.

Sometimes, the clearest guidance doesn't come all at once. I often receive insights and downloads both before and after our session as I sit with the energy and allow it to unfold in its own timing. I offer readings in person or over Zoom, but to support this process, I remain open via email to any questions you may have regarding that specific reading and the runes that were pulled. If something stirs within you after the session—or if further clarity is needed—I'm here to help you integrate what was revealed.

• Runic Healing & Spiritual Prescriptions

•  I often receive "prescriptions" from the runes and your guides during sessions. These may involve carrying a particular rune, drawing it on your mirror, walking with it in meditation, or using it in elemental work. These prescriptions are not just symbolic—they're energetic instructions. They help align your system, your life, and your path.

• Energetic Check-Ins & Integration

•  For many, one reading opens a cycle. I offer follow-up check-ins via Zoom or simple Q&A via email post-reading to help consult things shift for you. The runes act like signposts and stabilizers, helping you return to your center while expanding into new phases of self. This is a sacred partnership, not one-time advice (at least, this is my view to be of best service).

• Protection, Ritual, and Land Work

•  Runes are part of my warding, land clearing, and home blessing work. They are called upon for protection, severing harmful ties, shielding sacred spaces, and anchoring ancestral support. However, I always ask the runes prior to the work so I know what to work with. I inscribe, place, and activate them intentionally, I call them runic totems. These are not decorative—they are living seals.

• Sound Healing with Runic Voice

•  In sound work, the runes resonate with and vibrate into our energetic field. Their names are spoken, sung, or toned, activating their frequency through resonance. You feel them—not just hear them. Each sound becomes a thread that weaves your energy back into alignment.

A Rune Reading is a Sacred Exchange

Every reading is a collaboration between you, me, the runes, the old Gods/Goddesses, and the guides who step forward, everything that is needed in your highest alignment at that time. This is ceremony, healing, and realignment with who you truly are.

You may come for clarity, but you will also leave with insight, momentum, and a deeper sense of power and direction. The reason is that this practice, the rune, it's medicine and I treat it as such.

They walk beside you long after the reading is done(it was taught to me that they stay until the medicine is wrought). They offer protection, insight, and accountability. Through The Blackthorn Grove, I help you understand their wisdom in a grounded, personal, and sacred way.
