At The Blackthorn Grove, a rune reading is not a glimpse into the surface of your life. It is an illumination of the Wyrd, the vast web woven from everything that was, everything that is, and everything that is becoming. Past, present, and future are not separate here. They are threads in the same cloth, and the runes read them all at once. Within the current of that weave, through the Orlog, the primal law beneath all things, consciousness, will, and sacred breath move together. A reading here is not just information. It is an encounter with what is actually threading through you, beneath you, and ahead of you across the full span of your fate. People come to the runes for different reasons. A decision that won't resolve. A pattern that keeps returning. A relationship, a move, a piece of work that isn't sitting right. Sometimes there's no question at all, only the sense that something in your Wyrd has shifted and you can't name it. All of those are legitimate ways to arrive. You don't need a polished question, and you don't need to know what you're looking for. I work primarily with the Elder Futhark as my foundation, bringing in tarot and oracle as the session flows. When color, imagery, or nuance calls for a second voice, I follow that. You'll always know what's being used and why. Each session is tailored to what's needed in the moment. Some readings are quick, focused check-ins to clarify the day's energy. Others dive deep into layered, personal landscapes. Most fall somewhere in between, and how deep we go is ultimately up to you. Sessions are available via Zoom or phone. Sessions are not recorded. Come prepared with your questions written down, and I'll help you narrow them at the start so we use every minute well. I keep light notes for my own records and will follow up if needed. I am quite thorough. I move at the pace I need to, and I'll give you everything I receive during the time dedicated to you. That includes our conversation during the reading, photos of the cards with descriptions, and follow-up questions by email afterward. The time I spend diving into your reading at my workshop is just me, but you receive all of it. My aim is that you walk away with the spark you need to move forward.
